Meet the Minds Behind the Stage

It takes a team to tell a story—here are the ones who make ours unforgettable

Anuradha Quanoongo is a multidisciplinary theatre artist whose contributions span writing, direction, and performance across stage and screen. She directed Charlie The Chaplin for the Mississauga Multilingual Fringe Festival (2022), marking the debut of The Quanoongo Productions. She was the concept creator, writer, and director of the silent play Devolution, a thought-provoking piece exploring the erosion of human connection in modern society. She followed this with Extremes, another original silent work, which she wrote and directed, diving into the emotional disconnect within family dynamics. She also wrote and directed the upcoming play Drishti Kon – The Perception, a layered exploration of generational perspectives on morality and decision-making.

Anuradha Quanoongo

As a performer, Anuradha has shown remarkable range. She played a boisterous Punjabi wife in Badboo, a stage play presented with the Punjabi Arts Association (PAA). In Lukhnow Express, with Satrang Theatre, she portrayed a suppressed Muslim woman navigating societal expectations. She appeared as Maya, a fortune teller in Om Karra with Theatre Ya Know Toronto. She has also performed in Bhangan and Woh Chale Gaye as part of Sawitri Theatre's Hindi and Urdu Shorts festivals, where she embraced emotionally grounded, character-driven roles. On screen, she had a cameo role in Late Bloomer (Season 1), and starred in No Matter What, a short film created with George Brown College, portraying a South Asian mother coming to terms with her son's identity as a drag queen. She also appeared in Truth or Dare, a short film, and acted in B-Town, a Punjabi web series produced by Chamkor Arts.

Vikas plays a crucial role at The Quanoongo Productions, managing all marketing initiatives and overseeing production logistics with precision and dedication. His responsibilities are wide-ranging and vital to the company’s success—from meticulously coordinating rehearsal and performance schedules to securing the perfect venues that bring each production to life. Vikas also leads promotional efforts across multiple platforms, ensuring that every show reaches its intended audience with maximum impact.

Beyond these essential organizational tasks, Vikas’s extensive experience in the logistics field spans many years, where he has developed a strong skill set in project management, event coordination, and operational efficiency. This professional background gives him the expertise to seamlessly handle the complexities of production logistics, making sure every performance runs smoothly, on time, and well-attended. In addition to his behind-the-scenes expertise, Vikas is also a talented performer with a rich history in the performing arts. He has appeared in several acclaimed Hindi Shorts and Urdu Shorts productions, where his acting skills brought diverse characters to life and added depth to each project. His unique blend of creative talent and logistical know-how allows him to contribute to The Quanoongo Productions in a multifaceted way, bridging the gap between artistic vision and practical execution.

Nirmal Sidhu

Treasurer

Nirmal Sidhu serves as theFinance Director of The Quanoongo Productions, bringing structure and accountability to the organization’s financial operations. With a keen eye for detail and a deep sense of responsibility, he oversees budgeting, financial planning, expense tracking, and reimbursement management. His meticulous record-keeping ensures that every production is supported by a stable and transparent financial framework, allowing the creative team to focus entirely on their craft.

Beyond his essential administrative contributions, Nirmal is also an active and experienced performer. He was featured in the Sawitri Senior Shorts 2025 and has consistently contributed to Punjabi theatre, participating in numerous plays and community productions over the years. Within The Quanoongo Productions, he played key roles in both Devolution and Extremes, helping bring emotionally layered performances to life on stage. Nirmal also brings screen experience, having acted in various short YouTube films, demonstrating his versatility across mediums. His unique blend of artistic engagement and fiscal leadership makes him an integral part of both the creative and operational pillars of the company.

Rajan Parashar

Secretary

Rajan Parashar serves as the Secretary of The Quanoongo Productions, where he manages all internal documentation, meeting records, and official correspondence with clarity, efficiency, and professionalism. His role is critical in maintaining organizational structure, ensuring that every creative and logistical decision is properly recorded, communicated, and followed through. Rajan acts as a vital bridge between the creative team and operational needs, helping keep the company aligned, accountable, and well-informed across all levels of production.

In addition to his administrative expertise, Rajan brings a strong background in performance and media. He has been actively involved in several short films, showcasing his versatility on screen, and has built a strong portfolio in modelling, adding to his on-camera experience. His stage presence has been seen in collaborations with Sawitri Theatre, where he performed in notable productions that highlight his talent and commitment to storytelling. Rajan was also a part of Devolution with The Quanoongo Productions, further grounding his presence in theatre rooted in social reflection. His ability to navigate both the structural and creative sides of production makes him an invaluable asset to the team.
